Former Turkish PM Yilmaz’s Son Found Dead At Home
Yavuz Yilmaz, son of former Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz, was found dead at home, with police believing that he committed suicide with his father’s gun.
The body of son Yilmaz found dead at his villa apartment in Istanbul’s Beykoz district on Saturday morning. The police immediately launched an investigation and questioned his driver, four employees working at home.
In the initial phase of the probe, police told media that they believe that son Yilmaz shot himself dead with Smith Weston, a gun that registered on behalf of his father Mesut Yilmaz, who served as prime minister in early and late 1990s in coalition governments.
The news shocked the Yilmaz family. They declined to speak about the incident for the moment.
