Elon Musk Plans to Launch Tesla in Turkey This Year
Elon Musk said on Twitter that he plans to launch Tesla in Turkey late this year, an announcement that reveals his company’s desire to reach tech-savvy Turkish customers.
His remarks came after a Turkish citizen asked him about when Tesla Roadster would reach the Turkish market.
“@elonmusk when will be able to make a test drive for roadsters? I cam to CA from Turkey to test and to be one of the founders of the roadster, but no luck,” Isa Yeter asked Musk.
Towards end of next year. Btw, planning to launch Tesla in Turkey later this year. Love your country & will be there in person for the launch.

He responded to him positively: Towards end of next year. “Btw, planning to launch Tesla in Turkey later this year. Love your country & will be three in person for the launch.”
Musk last year visited Turkey and met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Musk’s SpaceX will launch two Turkish satellites into space after Turkey signed an accord with Airbus Defense and Space (Airbus D&S) for production of Turkish communication satellites.
