Lawyer Denies Reports That Erdogan’s Son Detained in Italy
A lawyer representing Ahmet Burak Erdogan, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s younger son, has denied media reports that he was detained in Italy.
Ahmet Ozel, Burak Erdogan’s lawyer, dismissed reports in social media as baseless and as intentionally produced to serve an agenda. Reports suggested that Burak Erdogan was detained on an F.B.I. warrant during his stay in Italy.

A statement by the lawyer goes as follow: As of today evening, some Twitter accounts reported that my client Ahmet Burak Erdogan being detained in Italy. This information is wrong and deliberately made up to serve a specific purpose. It is obvious that these lies and false information are the products of the dirty hands. We will continue our legal struggle with the dirty alliances that want to change the agenda with these lies.
