A total of 28 Turkish employees were granted the day off at the Saudi consulate general in Istanbul, Turkey, on the grounds that a diplomatic meeting would be held on October 2, the day of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi’s disappearance after walking into the premises, the Turkish news agency DHA reported on Tuesday.
