-People’s Democracy Party (HDP) lawmaker Osman Baydemir was briefly detained at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport when he returned from Hamburg and released after police interrogation. There was a court detention warrant against him.

-The U.S. Consulate in Istanbul is returning to process visa applications as usual before. On Monday, the Consulate will review 500 applications.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar in Istanbul. Prime Minister Yildirim reportedly informed the president about his visit to D.C. The meeting lasted three hours.

Turkish military captured a Russian-made rocket launcher during an operation against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the southeastern province of Sirnak.
